Great Tourist Site

This mountain doesn't get good until you get to into the back. There is some very fun tree skiing, but unfortunately everyone gets funneled to a single lift which serves a blue groomer run.

To get off the mountain is very painful since there is a very slow chair that you have to take out. Again, there is a mix of beginners and advanced funneled to this single lift and it stops frequently for those who aren't as familiar with the lift making it even slower than it was.

Decent place to ski

The snow conditions when I've been there weren't as good as other areas in summit county, tended to be more icy, however it was warmer the times we were there as well. Not as up scale, very plain but gets the job done. Very busy on the front site so if you're a blue or black run skier head to the outback or Northface for lesser crowds on the weekends. Midweek was fine all over the mountain.
