Mount Sunapee is ideal for beginners and intermediates. For beginners they have a totally separate mountain/hill that is all greens and one blue called the South Peak area. There is also a small/beginners terrain park with natural features. When I was just starting out I loved the South Peak area since you are totally isolated from most of the people skiing fast down harder trails. They also offer a cheaper ticket for use just on this section.

Once you've conquered the South Peak area, you can head over to the main mountain for some somewhat steeper terrain.

The only drawback to Sunapee is that it can get a little crowded, but for it's size, I think it handles crowds very well.

Sunapee is known for it's grooming and quality of snow.
