Brighton is like homeBrighton is often overlooked by non-local skiers, who view it as a snowboard mecca---which it is, but skiers and boarders co-exist and the skiing terrain is quite varied. Like Rachel said in her review, the terrain park is where the boarders congregate, leaving the rest of the mountain to us skiers (mostly). Brighton has the best backcountry access, with seven b/c gates. Millie Bowl can kick anyone's arse anytime. And there are hidden treasures everywhere for those willing to seek them---I'm not revealing these. And for those who want to ski two resorts---there's always the Sol-Bright pass where you can ski the whole upper Cottonwood area with little hiking investment. |

Great for advanced intermediatesI had a really good time at Brighton - they just seemed to have a ton of terrain that was right at my level, keeping me challenged without being too intimidating. |
