some unique great trails

I ve been to a lot of popular resorts out west, and nothing has been able to match the enjoyment I had sking some very unique trails while it snowed 3 feet in 3 days, wow. Interesting wildish terrain is what I look for in a resort and solitude had it, my favorite thus far.
I never understood how important alot of fresh snow is vital to a great ski experience until I came here, utah gets the most. Its a quick ride to salt lakes airport which means more time on the mountain. The only downer I had was the resort was 10 smaller than I thought and there wasnt much to do after skiing or places to eat, not a good apres ski resort and I wasn't interested in going into a huge city 30 minutes away to find somewhere to go.

Just back from Solitude

My family and I were just at Solitude 2/2 - 2/5. While the snow conditions are admittedly lean for UT, we generally ski in Vermont so we were quite happy. Varied terrain, nice trees, and ABSOLUTELY NO LIFT LINES! It felt like we had the place to ourselves pretty much every day. Not only is the skiing good, but the village offers some nice apre ski opportunities, for kids and adults alike. Visit!!

Great Place

Nice place... Lots of stuff to ski... Definitely checkout Honeycomb Canyon while you're there. No crowds ever...

Big Cottonwood Canyon is the place to be.
